PROJECT DESCRIPTION
KSTR Wildlife Rescue is a Costa Rican animal sanctuary and veterinary clinic dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and long-term care of displaced wildlife. As Creative Producer, Unbound Creative’s Colleen Logan led campaign development, pre-production coordination, and a small media team documenting the work of the sanctuary and veterinary staff across animal care, rehabilitation, and conservation education initiatives. In collaboration with the sanctuary team, we also produced visual assets for an animal enrichment guide distributed to other wildlife refuges and rehabilitation centres.
Filming in an active rescue environment required an adaptive production approach that balanced unpredictable animal behaviour, tropical weather, evolving care priorities, busy staff schedules, and strict ethical filming practices. From field production through to cinematography and editing, the project focused on creating emotionally grounded storytelling that supported both public engagement and conservation impact.
